Singer

Shyla Zoet has been actively busy with music from a young age . She grew up with Standards, Ballads and Evergreens and was especially inspired by The Carpenters, took music lessons and plays several musical instruments but singing finally proved to be her greatest passion.

After economic studies and theatre school, she finally found her passion and graduated as a singing teacher from the Hilversum Music Academy.

As a singer she gained abundant stage experience with several jazz / pop / funk & soul groups. Moreover she worked with many artists, both locally and abroad.

As a ‘singer & songwriter’, Shyla has thus far never presented herself to the bigger public. Nevertheless, her new album will soon be released with primarily self written songs.

Shyla’s passion is the writing of songs in various styles from Jazz to Pop among others together with her partner Joost van Leeuwen.
